We are seeking a proactive and organised Recruitment Coordinator to support our growing recruitment team in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for talent acquisition. The successful candidate will be responsible for candidate sourcing, headhunting activities, onboarding coordination, and providing comprehensive administrative support throughout the recruitment process.
Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing & Headhunting
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media platforms, and internal databases.
- Conduct targeted headhunting activities to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs.
- Screen CVs and shortlist suitable candidates against role requirements.
- Initiate contact with potential candidates and assess their suitability and interest.
Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Assist recruiters with vacancy management and recruitment campaigns.
- Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to the recruitment team.
Onboarding Support
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, including right-to-work verification and reference requests.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
- Support new starters throughout their onboarding journey.
Administration
- Maintain recruitment records and ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies.
- Produce recruitment reports and update recruitment trackers.
- Manage recruitment inboxes and respond to candidate enquiries.
- Assist with the preparation of recruitment-related documentation and presentations.
- Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team as required.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, recruitment administration, or talent acquisition support.
- Experience sourcing candidates through online platforms and databases.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience in direct sourcing and headhunting candidates.
- Knowledge of onboarding processes and employment compliance requirements.
- Recruitment agency or in-house recruitment experience.
