Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor (Part-Time)

About the role We're a growing commercial cleaning company based in Bedford, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to help us maintain high standards across our contracts. This is a field-based role where you'll split your time between carrying out your own cleaning at allocated sites, checking standards across other sites, and being the day-to-day point of contact for cleaners and clients.

Key responsibilities
- Carry out regular cleaning at your own allocated sites
- Complete site spot checks and quality inspections across contracts
- Lead, train and support your team of cleaners day-to-day
- Act as the first point of contact for existing clients — handling queries and resolving issues professionally
- Organise cover for sickness and holidays
- Support the set-up of new contracts
- Keep clear records of staff hours, site visits and any issues raised
What we're looking for
- Proven commercial cleaning experience
- Experience supervising or managing a cleaning team (team leader, supervisor or manager level)
- Happy to be hands-on with cleaning alongside the management responsibilities
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage paid)
- Flexible availability — mornings, evenings and some weekends required
- Reliable, organised and confident communicating with both staff and clients
