We are excited to be looking for a Roving Veterinary Surgeon to cover inspiring vet care in the West Sussex region. The role will involve carrying out routine surgeries and consultations with the possibility of sole charge work. You will work across multiple practices in the region. This role offers a great deal of flexibility and exposure to a variety of cases supporting clinical exposure and development. This opportunity also allows the opportunity to work with certificate holders including those with certificates in Surgery, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine. The groups covered within the remit of the Roving Vet Surgeon role are;
- Barrow Hill, Ashford and New Romney
- Corner House Vets, Herne Bay
- Lady Dane Vets, Faversham
- Manor Vet Clinic, Folkestone]
- Trinity Vet Centre, Maidstone
You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
