Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve not only bartending but also assisting with food service, making it essential that you possess strong time management skills and a passion for the restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Opening and closing the pub
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management by reporting low supplies.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.
