Hotel Linen Services (HLS) is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that clean linen leaves our warehouse and arrives to the customer in pristine condition, as well as collecting used linen for return with our delivery driver.
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, including lifting bags and moving wheeled cages. The position offers flexibility based on customer needs, typically working 3–5 days per week (across 7 days) within the hours of 6:30am–4pm, with some shorter shifts.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- A friendly, approachable manner and strong teamwork skills
- A clean driving licence
- Reliability and flexibility throughout the working week
- Previous delivery experience (preferred)
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently
Pay: £12.71 per hour
