Duties
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding customer service and high-quality beverages consistently.
- Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain strict food safety protocols and cleanliness standards across all areas of the café.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and light food items with precision and flair.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through efficient food preparation practices.
- Train new team members on barista techniques, food safety procedures, serving etiquette, and time management skills.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements
- Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a café environment.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and quickly under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team effectively.
