Duties

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings based on customer feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
