Ciconi Ltd is an established design, print and mailing house founded in 1989 and is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales / Account Manager to oversee key accounts and drive business growth.

As our Sales / Account Manager, you will be part of an existing small account management team responsible for developing client relationships and expanding existing accounts. You will be regularly meeting with new and existing clients, networking at industry / local events and spotting opportunities for collaboration. When you are not on the road, you will be based at our offices in Warboys, Cambridgeshire.
The role’s focus is managing existing key accounts, securing business through new accounts and reviving lost accounts. You will develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about Ciconi. You will use your persuasiveness and creativity to attract and convert new business sales. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our services and know how to attract clients to Ciconi’s ‘A more excellent way’. You will have excellent time management skills and a passion to meet and exceed targets wherever possible.
The main functions of this role are:
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships and new products and services
- Creating strategies to reach new business opportunities successfully
- Building relationships with new and existing clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs with the support of the Director of Client Services
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
- Attending client meetings as well as conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners
- Reporting to the Board of Directors
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
The successful applicant will:
- Be enthusiastic and creative
- Have proven experience with a minimum of five years in a sales and account management role
- Understand print and/or direct mail marketing (preferred)
- Have strong relationship-building and account management skills
- Be self-motivated, hardworking and positive
- Have strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
- Be adept at generating fresh leads and converting opportunities to sales
- Be a confident communicator and relationship builder
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
