Cook – Hotel Kitchen
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our busy hotel kitchen team. This role involves preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, supporting evening service, and assisting with light lunch offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver a high standard of breakfast food
- Set up, replenish, and maintain the breakfast buffet
- Assist with dinner service as required
- Prepare and serve light lunchtime snacks
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and allergen regulations
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience is essential
- Good working knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- High standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Solid understanding of allergen management
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and provide holiday cover
Hours & Location:
- Around 30 hours per week - chance of overtime and holiday cover.
- Own transport is essential due to the hotel’s location (not accessible via public transport)
