West Cawthorne is looking for a reliable, hard-working gardener to join us two days a week over the summer.
No experience needed, we can show you the ropes. There’s potential for this to become a bigger, longer-term role for the right person as the estate develops.
We’re set deep in the beautiful countryside so you’ll need your own transport or a reliable lift to site.
Perfect for students looking for summer work, but all are welcome to apply.
What the work involves:
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding and general seasonal tasks
- Keeping the grounds and outdoor spaces looking presentable
- Basic upkeep and minor maintenance around the site
- Operating tools and machinery safely
What we need:
- Reliable, punctual and happy to get on with it
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers
- Own transport or a dependable way of getting to us
- Able to work independently and use your initiative
Desirable but not essential:
- Some experience with lawn mowing or garden maintenance
- A passion for plants, flowers and the outdoors
