We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabricator Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components and structures from engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, quality workmanship, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
- Fabricate metal components using various materials including mild steel
- Perform MIG welding to a high standard.
- Mark out, cut, drill, grind, and assemble fabricated parts.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and dimensional requirements.
- Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and colleagues to achieve production targets.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Competence in MIG welding.
- Experience using fabrication tools and machinery.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and welding techniques.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Fabrication and Welding, Engineering, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Relevant welding certifications advantageous.
- Apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding desirable.

Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 06:30am till 16:00pm
- Friday – 06:00am till 12:30pm
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
