*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to temporarily join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being. *Duties* - Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting - Assisting with meal preparation and feeding - Supporting residents with mobility and transfers - Engaging residents in social activities and companionship - Maintaining accurate care records and updating care plans - Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues - Utilising IT systems for documentation and reporting *Requirements* - Ability to drive or commute reliably to the care home - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Familiarity with care plans and home care practices - Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping - Must have previous experience in care and experience required for medication. Must be flexible and able to cover sickness and annual leave. This position is for 24 hours per week on a temporary basis for approx 3 months.
