Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PGA Professional to take on the dual role of Club Manager & Head Professional. This is a senior leadership position responsible for the smooth running of all Club operations, ensuring excellence in service, commercial performance, and member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day management of the Club, including golf operations, retail, membership, and administration.
- Oversee the Professional Shop and deliver a high‑quality retail and coaching service.
- Manage staff, budgets, and operational processes to ensure efficiency and financial control.
- Work collaboratively with the Course & Facilities Manager to maintain the course and clubhouse to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement initiatives to grow membership, visitor play, and society bookings.
- Prepare management reports and provide strategic recommendations to the Board.
- Uphold the Club’s values of professionalism, integrity, and member‑focused service.
Candidate Profile
- PGA‑qualified professional with proven experience in golf club management and retail operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commercially minded with a track record of delivering operational and financial success.
- Passionate about golf and committed to enhancing the member and visitor experience.
- Confident in managing staff, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
Remuneration:
A competitive package commensurate with experience, including Club Manager salary and Golf coaching income opportunities.
