Due to an exciting internal restructure, KAP Motor Group is creating a new
opportunity for an enthusiastic Aftersales Team Leader to join our aftersales
leadership team.
KAP Motor Group is a successful family-owned business with over 75 years of
automotive experience. We proudly represent Ford, Nissan, Renault, Dacia, OMODA
and JAECOO, alongside one of the South East’s largest multi-franchise aftersales
operations.
Working closely with the Workshop Team Leader and Senior Management Team,
you will lead our front-of-house aftersales operation, delivering exceptional customer
service while driving operational excellence and achieving manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop aftersales team.
- Take ownership of the customer journey from booking through to vehicle
- collection, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Work closely with the Workshop Team Leader to coordinate workshop capacity, customer communication and vehicle progress.
- Act as the first point of escalation for customer concerns, ensuring swift and professional resolution.
- Deliver manufacturer customer care programmes, service campaigns, recalls and retailer standards.
- Drive Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance and continually improve customer retention.
- Ensure repair orders, warranty documentation and customer records are completed accurately and in line with manufacturer requirements.
- Monitor departmental KPIs including customer satisfaction, labour sales, service plans and departmental performance.
- Coach, mentor and develop your team through regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer programmes, FCA requirements, company policies and Health & Safety legislation.
- Support the Senior Management Team in delivering departmental objectives and continuous business improvement.
About You
We’re looking for someone with energy, ambition and a passion for delivering
outstanding customer service.
You may already be a Team Leader or Senior Service Advisor, or you
could be an ambitious Service Advisor ready to take the next step into leadership.
You’ll have:
- Experience within a franchised automotive aftersales environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience, or the ambition to develop into a leadership role.
- A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to motivate a team to achieve results.
- A commitment to delivering manufacturer standards and continuous improvement.
- A full UK Driving Licence.

Working Hours
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Saturday: 8:00am-1:00pm (Rota basis)
