Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting culinary staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet hygiene standards.
- Ensuring the kitchen area is tidy and organised at all times.
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with various duties as required during service.
- Collecting and disposing of waste efficiently and responsibly.
- Restocking supplies and maintaining stock levels in the kitchen.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of kitchen procedures and hygiene standards is desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude towards cleanliness and safety.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
