Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages (experience with Matcha would be ideal), providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and possess a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders efficiently whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations for change and sales records.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Restock supplies, organise workstations, and keep the premises tidy throughout shifts.
- Support team members with additional duties such as serving or cleaning during quieter periods.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is p essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to maintain hygiene compliance.
- Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions confidently.
- Basic maths skills to manage payments accurately and perform simple calculations.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service times efficiently.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or peak hours if necessary.
