ACTIVITIES AND WELLBEING COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Summary
You will be responsible for organising and creating a varied activities programme, from organised hobbies to group events, all of which will promote independence, choice and dignity for our residents.
You will get to know our residents, their interests and life stories, so you can deliver events that truly enrich their lives and ensure they feel connected with their community.
Establish relationships with the local community and promote resident involvement.
To formulate a meaningful occupation and activity profile for each individual resident
in liaison with the resident, relatives, and care colleagues.
Review occupation and activity profiles on a regular basis with the residents and
relatives and adjust if necessary.
In liaison with the Home Manager, plan, and coordinate outside entertainers.
Coordinate celebrations for resident’s birthdays.
To maintain accurate and legible records of individual resident’s involvement in
occupation and activities
To provide the management team with regular, up to date information of planned events, news, celebrations, outcomes following events and special moments.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: From £12.95 per hour
