About You: Are you an experienced engineer who would enjoy solving technical challenges and helping to keep things running smoothly?
We’re looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to join our growing team — someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, maintaining systems and getting equipment back up and running.
You’ll be working on everything from installation, serving, and repairs of small piston units to large-scale 250kW+ screw, vane, and scroll compressors — plus oil-free and nitrogen systems, blowers, vacuum pumps, and more. No two days are the same!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Service, repair, and rebuild compressors and related equipment for our customers.
- Diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, and carry out efficient on-site repairs to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Spot opportunities for additional maintenance while on-site and work closely with our service team to plan the next steps.
- Carry out installations, pipework, and commissioning for compressed air and nitrogen systems.
- Complete job documentation to a high standard — accuracy and communication are key!
- Support insurance inspections and occasionally lead small project teams on installations.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone with a strong engineering foundation — ideally from an engineering, plant maintenance, automotive, or agricultural background — and good electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
