CRITICAL that you are well experienced as a barista on a freshly ground espresso coffee machine in a fast paced busy cafe environment. You will need to demonstrate your ability to make quality drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites etc. Preference will be made to those who can perform latte art.
MUST be fit and healthy as this role is physically demanding in busy periods, where you will need to move quickly and efficiently, waiting on customers climbing up and down stairs loaded with arms of trays of food/drink repeatedly throughout a shift.
Also essential that you are confident and can remain calm under pressure, and have a very positive, friendly and smiley demeanour. We can teach you anything you need to learn about our processes, but you need to bring the personality! We love our customers to enjoy their visits, with some friendly conversation and banter, and the team also has as much fun as possible whilst getting on with the job in hand too.
We want someone who can work 2 days a week, potentially 3 shifts (generally 6-7hr shifts), one of which will always be a random weekend shift each week and the other a weekday between Weds & Fri as we are closed Mon & Tues. Rota is sent out 3 weeks in advance. More hours available to cover staff holidays /sickness or if you have kitchen experience we are also recruiting for a part time role there too.
