About the role
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to cover a busy healthcare division delivering in bulk to our Healthcare customers. The role reports to our site in Dartford, Kent.
The role is full-time, working an average of 45 hours per week and covering planned holidays and absence.
Weekly paid role at a rate of £19.01ph
Requirements for HGV class 2 Driver:
- Must Hold full Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC Required
- Tachograph Digi Card required
- To comply with the road transport legislation.
Responsibilities for HGV class 2 Driver:
- To be the company’s “Service Ambassador” with our customers.
- To deliver and collect work to and from the branch and our NHS customers.
- To know and understand the scheduled delivery routes that you have been allocated.
- To execute daily vehicle checks and cleaning routines.
- Deliver and collect linen in cages to NHS hospitals

45 hrs a week shift patterns to be covered are:
DAY SHIFT 45 HRS PER WEEK
MON-THUR - 05.00AM START TO 14.00PM FINISH
FRI - 05.00AM START 12.00 MIDDAY FINISH.
SUN - 09.00/10.00AM START TO 14.30/15.30PM FINISH.
PM MID SHIFT 45 HRS PER WEEK.
MON-THUR - 14.00PM START TO 22.30PM FINISH.
FRI - 12.00 MIDDAY START 19.00 FINISH
SAT - 06.00/07.00 TO 14.00/15.00
NIGHT SHIFT 45 HRS PER WEEK
SUN - 00.00 MIDNIGHT TO 05.30AM
MON-THUR - 21.30 PM TO 06.30AM
FRI - 19.00PM TO 02.00AM
Bank Holidays are normal working days.
2 x bulk drops per day 27 cages of clean to deliver 27 cages of soiled to return.
Tail lift work all on cages. HGV Sat Navs all work on cages.
