What does a Domestic Assistant do?
Put simply, your job is to support people to ensure a clean and healthy environment within the context of Health & Safety Legislation, to help us deliver our mission: “Positive Futures for people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism - working together to achieve dreams and transform lives”
About The Role
Main Responsibilities

Vacuum and mop floors as required

Dust/polish surfaces

Empty waste bins
-
Clean/disinfect Kitchen, work surfaces/sinks/cupboards etc

Clean/disinfect toilets and washbasins etc

Clean/dust paintwork regularly

Any other duties as reasonably requested
There may be occasions when the job holder is required to fulfil some duties outside of normal working hours and flexibility is therefore essential.
This Job Profile is not restrictive, and the job holder may be required to undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be directed by their Line Manager.
Additional Information

Part time - 3 hours per week. Hours will be split over the week; 1.5 hours Tuesday and 1.5 hours Friday.
No Driving License or Car Required

There may be other duties from time to time as Positive Futures may reasonably require.
Required Criteria
One Year’s experience of carrying out domestic duties.
