Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Multidrop ADR Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of small-volume diesel fuel to various construction sites, operating a fully ADR-compliant vehicle. This is a hands-on position involving multiple daily drops and direct interaction with site personnel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver small-volume diesel loads to plant and machinery on active construction sites.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to the required standards.
- Load, transport, and offload fuel in line with current ADR regulations and company procedures.
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately, including fuel logs and delivery notes.
- Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers and site managers.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Report any incidents, near misses, or defects promptly to management.
- Use GPS and route planning tools to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and delivery equipment.
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV 2 licence.
- Current ADR Certificate (Class 3 - Flammable Liquids).
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Proven experience in multidrop fuel deliveries or similar role preferred.
- Good understanding of fuel handling safety and ADR compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering to construction or industrial sites.
- Knowledge of local area and routes.
