Self-Employed Garden Maintenance & Landscaping Assistant – Henstridge Area
We are a small but growing garden maintenance business based in the Henstridge area, specialising in domestic gardens. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking self-employed individual to join our team for 2 days per week, with the potential for additional work as the business continues to expand.
The role will involve a variety of outdoor work, including:
- Fencing projects and repairs
- Small groundwork projects
- General garden maintenance
- Lawn mowing, strimming, and hedge trimming
- Other landscaping tasks as required
This is a physically demanding role and involves hard, manual outdoor work in all weather conditions. Applicants must be comfortable with heavy lifting, digging, using tools, and being on their feet for long periods. A good level of fitness and a willingness to work hard are essential.
Typical working hours will be approximately 8:00am – 5:30pm, although some days may run longer depending on the workload and the job requirements.
Experience in fencing, landscaping, or garden maintenance would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, who is reliable, keen to learn, and takes pride in their work.

This position is offered on a self-employed basis only.
A review will be carried out after the first 2 months, and a pay increase may be offered depending on performance, reliability, and the standard of work.
