Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Waste Clearance Driver specializing in Tipper Van operations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting waste materials and debris from various sites to designated disposal facilities. Duties
- Operate a Tipper Van to collect and transport waste materials from commercial, industrial, or residential sites
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading waste, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and site personnel to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of waste collection activities, including logs of pickups, drop-offs, and vehicle maintenance
- Follow environmental guidelines for waste disposal and ensure all materials are disposed of responsibly
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on commercial driving operations
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating Tipper Vans or similar commercial vehicles in urban or rural environments
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics processes is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading tasks
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, safety procedures, and environmental standards related to waste disposal
