We are currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly independent first opinion small animal practice . We are busy practice located in Southsea with a varied case load. We are looking for an enthusiastic dedicated team player. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate veterinary professionals eager to make a meaningful difference every day.
Duties
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor anaesthesia and patient recovery, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and other diagnostics, to support accurate diagnoses
- Administer medications under schedule 3 procedures, second vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinary team
- Provide compassionate pre- and post-operative care to patients.

- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
