Working alongside our Operations Manager and reporting to our Office Manager based in Leeds, you'll play a key role in ensuring the depot operates efficiently, professionally and consistently every day.
The Role

- Supporting and motivating a small office and operational team.
- Debriefing drivers at the end of their shifts and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Preparing vehicle keys, paperwork and equipment for drivers before they begin their routes.
- Making sure drivers have everything they need to complete their day safely and efficiently.
- Handling customer service enquiries and supporting our logistics operation.
- Coordinating with our Leeds Head Office to ensure smooth communication between depots.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.
- Helping recruit, train and support new team members as the depot continues to grow.
- Addressing performance issues professionally and confidently when standards are not being met.
- Supporting the Operations Manager in maintaining consistently high operational standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in running an organised operation and isn't afraid to hold people accountable.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence managing people and dealing with challenging conversations when required.
- The ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed.
- High personal standards and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Experience within transport, logistics, waste management or another operational environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
What You'll Receive
- £30,000 annual salary.
- The opportunity to play a key role in the growth of one of the UK's highest-rated waste management companies.
- Ongoing support from an experienced management team.
- Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business continues to expand.
- Company pension.
- Free on-site parking.
