SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Hampstead)

- Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

- Contract: Until July 2027 (potentially longer)
- PAYE Pay Scale: (£95-£110) per day
New Formation Education is an Education Recruitment Agency working on behalf of a client school to source this role. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive Primary School in Hampstead.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a newly diagnosed autistic pupil, supporting their learning and development. The school follows a supportive approach alongside a modified curriculum, so we need someone who is active, hands-on, and able to make learning engaging and fun.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine understanding of autism (professional or personal experience e.g. with a sibling or child is welcome)
- The energy and mobility to keep up with young, active learners
- A proactive and creative approach to learning through play
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A graduate background is desirable, though not essential
