Job Overview
Hydrocore is looking for a skilled and reliable Residential Watermist Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of residential watermist fire protection systems across a range of properties.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical installation, plumbing, fire protection, pumps, or a similar engineering environment. Full training on Hydrocore systems will be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Install residential watermist pump units and associated components
- Install and connect pipework systems to project specifications
- Carry out system commissioning, testing, and handover procedures
- Complete installation checks and resolve technical issues on site
- Follow drawings, specifications, and installation guidelines
- Complete accurate paperwork and commissioning records
- Work safely and professionally while representing Hydrocore with customers and contractors
Requirements
- Experience in plumbing, mechanical installation, fire suppression, or a related trade
- Practical experience working with pumps, pipework, and pressure systems
- Ability to use hand tools and carry out installation work to a high standard
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience with watermist or sprinkler systems
- Fire protection industry experience
- Knowledge of commissioning procedures
- Relevant plumbing or mechanical qualifications
