As a Recovery Worker in Cornwall, you’ll join us on a starting salary of £28,000 per annum (this includes a £1,000 per annum allowance). This will increase each year in line with our pay progression bands.

Our team working in the north and east of Cornwall are looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery support to a diverse client group. Your office base will be Liskeard but you will be working in the north and east area of Cornwall.
You will work Full time (37.5 hours) Monday - Friday, with the occasional Saturday.
Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them determine what their goals, ambitions, and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery. This is an integral role for WithYou.
You will be a compassionate and motivated individual with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service that supports some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Working as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services that include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice, and a residential rehabilitation facility.
You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.

Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months

Have demonstrable experience of working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting

Successful track record of working or volunteering with people who have experienced substance misuse issues
