What You'll Be Doing
- Writing, testing and maintaining clean, well-documented code as part of our development team
- Building and integrating features on AWS using services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB and EC2
- Helping deploy and maintain AI/ML models — including supporting monitoring, retraining and performance improvements
- Working with APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure under the guidance of the Senior Solutions Architect
- Debugging, troubleshooting and improving existing code and systems
- Participating in code reviews, learning best practices, and following AWS and engineering standards
What We're Looking For
- Solid programming fundamentals in at least one language (Python preferred; JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or similar also welcome)
- Some hands-on experience building software — through projects, internships, coursework or work
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts and an eagerness to learn AWS
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and working with APIs
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or a genuine interest in learning them
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take direction and learn under mentorship
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field — or equivalent practical experience / a strong self-taught portfolio
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or any AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate)
- A GitHub portfolio or personal/side projects
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) or CI/CD pipelines

Pay: £34,420.00-£50,135.24 per year
