Overview
Chilli is a UK-based apparel business delivering website, e-commerce, brand and digital-content projects with the support from UK stakeholders and China-based business partners.
This is a newly created role intended to improve the structure, accuracy and speed of E-commerce project delivery. The candidate will act as the main technical link between the UK creative team and China support team, also report to E-commerce Manager and Operation Director.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in both UK and China to integrate various systems and optimize website performance.
Duties
- Fully understand the processes in various departments in the UK operations including product development, merchandise, warehouse and finance.
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable e-commerce websites using front-end frameworks like Angular and React ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and custom web services to enable smooth data exchange between platforms.
- Organise regular updates and ensuring that all team members in the UK and in China understand priorities, responsibilities and deadlines of system integration
- Optimize website performance through code refinement using HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (and TypeScript), AJAX, and Bootstrap for a seamless user experience.
- Manage the operational delivery of assigned websites, e-commerce, branding and digital-content projects from briefing through to completion when China technical partners are involved in.
- Collaborate on system architecture design, implement security best practices including SEO optimization and web design principles for maximum visibility and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front-end development with expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Angular, Redux), jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive web design.
- Experience integrating APIs via RESTful services or GraphQL; familiarity with SOAP-based web services is a plus.
- Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) to publish and maintain web content.
- Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Notion or a comparable project-management platform.
- Ability to wireframe UI/UX designs using tools like Trello or other wireframing software.
- Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret commercial and creative requirements and convert them into clear project instructions in both English and mandarin Chinese.
Pay: £30,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
