Job Summary
An established accountancy practice is seeking a payroll and bookkeeping assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
- Managing pensions including auto-enrolment and re-enrolment processes.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Liasing with clients to resolve payroll and bookkeeping queries.
- Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software.
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous payroll experience.
- Strong understanding of HMRC processes and compliance.
- Knowldge of workplace pensions (auto-enrolment and re-enrolment
Desirable:
- Experience using BrightPay.
- Experience with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
- Skilled in Excel-based analysis and summarising financial data.
