We are looking for a Qualified Early Years Teacher (EYTS) who can take ownership of our educational strategy and classroom curriculum. You aren't just managing day-to-day activities; you are shaping young minds and defining the standard of early development. You will guide an enthusiastic team of practitioners, bridging the gap between national EYFS frameworks and joyful, play-based learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Ownership: Maintain and evolve our early years educational programs. Ensure child-centered quality and consistency across all age groups.
- End-to-End Early Learning: Lead the process from initial developmental assessments and lesson planning to engaging daily activities and individual milestone tracking.
- Team Mentorship: Lead and support Early Years Practitioners and support staff. Conduct regular practice reviews and provide constructive guidance that elevates team performance.
- Child Observation & Research: Don't just guess developmental needs. Validate progress through observation, developmental tracking, and evidence-based methods before designing individual learning paths.
- Parent & Safeguarding Management: Present clear developmental updates to parents and carers. Maintain exemplary safeguarding, health, and safety standards across all nursery activities.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualifications: Qualified Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an early years specialization.
- Experience: Strong hands-on teaching experience in an early years or foundation setting, with proven confidence in guiding junior practitioners.
- Knowledge: Deep mastery of the EYFS framework, safeguarding protocols, and positive behavior management techniques.
- Communication Skills: Clear, warm, and professional communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and external education specialists.
- Mindset: You are adaptive and empathetic. You know how to nurture individual potential while keeping daily classroom environments structured and joyful.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
