Working on-site at one of CSG's major manufacturing customers based in Gloucester GL2 9QH, you'll take responsibility for coordinating the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of environmental and waste services. We're looking for someone with similar experience ideally gained within waste management, environmental services, facilities, industrial operations or another regulated environment, who is practical, organised and confident managing people and priorities.
Location: Safran Customer Site (Gloucester)
Salary: £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 (depending on experience)

Role Accountabilities:
-
Coordinate the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of environmental and waste services.

Organise daily priorities for a small operational team.
-
Oversee waste, recycling and hazardous waste storage and movements.

Maintain accurate compliance and tracking records.
-
Coordinate approved contractors and service providers.
-
Act as the key day-to-day customer contact, resolving issues and maintaining high service standards.

Identify and support improvements across safety, compliance, recycling, efficiency and service delivery.

Complete hazardous waste classification, with training and competence assessment provided where required.
The Candidate:
- Experience in waste management, environmental services, facilities, industrial operations or another regulated environment.

Practical, organised and confident in managing people and priorities.
-
Strong understanding of compliance and safe working practices.
-
High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
-
Good IT, communication and organisational skills.
-
Experience with hazardous waste and WM3 principles is desirable.
-
CIWM, WAMITAB or relevant Health & Safety qualifications are advantageous.

Willingness to undertake role-specific training and development.
