Positive Impact Care Group is looking for caring, reliable and committed Female Waking Night Support Workers to join our team.
This is an important role supporting individuals throughout the night to remain safe, comfortable and well supported within their own environment.
We are looking for people who genuinely care about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and who understand that night support is about much more than simply being present. You will need to remain awake, alert and responsive throughout the full shift, providing reassurance and practical support whenever required.
About the Role
As a Female Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support in accordance with each individual's care and support plan.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Remaining awake and alert throughout the entire night shift
- Carrying out regular welfare and safety checks
- Supporting individuals with their personal care needs
- Providing reassurance and emotional support during the night
- Supporting with continence care and repositioning where required
- Administering or supporting with medication in accordance with care plans, training and company procedures
- Responding appropriately if an individual becomes distressed, unwell or requires additional support
- Monitoring and reporting changes in an individual's health, presentation or behaviour
- Maintaining accurate and timely care records
- Completing required household and night-time duties without disrupting the people we support
- Following individual risk assessments, behaviour support strategies and care plans
- Safeguarding the people we support and promptly reporting any concerns
- Providing a clear and accurate handover to the incoming day team
- Working professionally with colleagues, families and other professionals

Previous experience in health and social care is beneficial, although the right values, attitude and commitment are equally important.

Training and Development
Successful applicants will receive appropriate induction and training for their role.
You will be expected to complete all mandatory training and any additional training relevant to the needs of the individuals you support.

Pay: £13.55-£15.08 per hour
