This role offers an exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified Occupational Therapist looking to start their career in paediatrics, or an existing Band 5 OT with a passion for working with children and young people and developing specialist skills within a supportive team.
Based in the well-equipped Children's Centre at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, you will join a small, experienced and welcoming multidisciplinary team of Specialist Children's Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Assistant Practitioners. This varied role offers the opportunity to work across both outpatient clinics at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust and community settings, supporting children and families to achieve their goals and maximise independence in everyday activities.
You will independently manage a diverse caseload, carrying out assessments, developing and delivering intervention plans, and evaluating outcomes, while working closely with colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Although much of the role involves autonomous practice, you will have access to regular supervision, clinical support, and opportunities for professional development.
As part of a forward-thinking service, you will also contribute to innovative ways of delivering care, including face-to-face and online workshops, coaching groups, and service development initiatives.
