Calber Facilities Management Ltd is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Cleaning Operations Lead to oversee the delivery of cleaning services at one of our prestigious educational establishments.

You will lead by example, maintaining exceptionally high standards whilst supporting, motivating, and developing your team to deliver outstanding service.
As the primary on-site operational lead, you will work closely with the school to represent Calber.
You will be accountable for ensuring service delivery is consistently meets contractual requirements and exceeds our client expectations.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and supporting the on-site cleaning team
- Planning and allocating daily tasks to ensure service expectations are met
- Maintaining exception cleaning standards through regular auditing
- Working alongside the team and undertaking cleaning duties where operationally required
- Managing staffing levels, absence cover, and holiday planning
- Delivering inductions, training, and on-going mentoring to team members
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering consumables
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, safeguarding and company procedures
- Representing Calber in a positive manner and maintaining communication with our Contract Management team
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.
You will have:
- Previous experience supervising and carrying out cleaning operations in commercial environments
- Strong people and leadership skills with the ability to motivate people
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach with confidence to solve problems
- High attention to detail
- Good IT skills and experience using digital systems for Quality management and workforce management
- The flexibility to support operational requirements and lead from the front
