Location: Portsmouth HQ (Office-Based) Hours: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Weekdays & Weekends) Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off Contract Type: Part-Time
Are you an early bird with a sharp mind and a calm head under pressure? We’re looking for a proactive Helpdesk Coordinator to support our Mobile Cleaning Team and over 200 operatives across the South of England.
From our Portsmouth HQ, you’ll kick off each day at 5am, ensuring every cleaner is in place, clocked in, and ready to deliver. When challenges arise—whether it’s sickness cover, rota gaps, or urgent client requests—you’ll be the one who keeps everything running smoothly.
First point of contact for mobile and site-based cleaning teams
Monitor time and attendance, ensuring staff are clocked in correctly
Organise emergency cover for sickness or no-shows
Communicate with mobile teams, updating schedules and resolving issues
Log and dispatch jobs based on location and priority
Update operations team on staffing and shift issues
Maintain accurate records and hand over updates at the end of each shift
Essential:
Excellent communication and people skills
Calm decision-making under pressure
Strong time management and multitasking ability
Tech proficiency (email, phone, workforce software – training provided)
Reliability and responsibility – the mobile team depends on you
Desirable:
Helpdesk or facilities experience
Knowledge of scheduling tools
Comfort with early mornings in a fast-paced environment
Fixed part-time shift pattern (4-on / 4-off)
