Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment in Poynton The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure efficient service and outstanding guest satisfaction
- Create innovative drink menus that reflect current trends while considering guest preferences.
- Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, bartenders and daily operations
- Support the training and development of team members in hospitality best practices, serving techniques, and food safety protocols
- Ensure all food production meets health standards through regular inspections and adherence to sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels beverages, and supplies; assist with ordering to minimize waste and control costs
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism and a focus on resolution
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that keep guests returning
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in Bar tending and ideally cocktail creation
- Experience in restaurant management or team leadership roles demonstrating effective team management skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications relevant to the hospitality industry
- Hands-on experience serving guests in a fast-paced environment; barista or bar service experience is a must.
- Knowledge of food production processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence
