Job Summary
We’re looking for a Cocktail Bartender/Barista to join our team at our seafront hotel bar. The role involves preparing cocktails and coffee, serving guests and keeping the bar area clean and organised as well as checking in guests and attending to their questions.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and specialty coffee drinks
- Preparing/serving sandwiches and snacks
- Clearing and setting up tables
- Checking-in guests to the hotel
- Attending to guest queries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest IDs to promote safety
- Occasional breakfast service
Experience
- Ability to make a range of cocktails and coffee
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, bartending, serving, or similar roles is essential.
- Strong understanding of basic math for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
