The opportunity
Ethical Power is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Coordinator to join our Construction department.
This is a key project delivery role providing high-level coordination across our renewable energy construction portfolio. Working closely with construction managers, project managers, engineers, site teams, clients, subcontractors and internal departments, you’ll help ensure that projects remain organised, compliant and supported by accurate information.
The role extends beyond traditional administration. You’ll take ownership of construction documentation, project records, quality information, client coordination and departmental processes. You’ll be expected to identify gaps, anticipate requirements and help drive actions through to completion.

Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level operational and coordination support across multiple construction projects.
- Take ownership of project documentation, registers, records and document-control processes.
- Coordinate construction and engineering information between project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal departments.
- Monitor project deliverables, approvals and actions, escalating risks or delays where necessary.
- Support construction and project managers with reporting, programme information, client updates and project reviews.
- Prepare meeting packs, reports, minutes and action trackers, ensuring agreed actions are followed through.
- Help ensure that documentation complies with contractual, regulatory and company requirements.
- Support project audits, inspections, governance reviews and handover activities.
- Maintain clear records of project correspondence, decisions, approvals and changes.
- Identify weaknesses in project information or departmental processes and recommend practical improvements.
- Develop and maintain consistent templates, systems and working practices across the Construction department.
- Build effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as a reliable point of coordination.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members where required.
- Take on increasing project and departmental responsibility as experience within the role develops.
About you
You’ll have at least three years’ relevant experience within the solar industry, supported by a strong understanding of construction and engineering project delivery. You may currently work in project coordination, document control, quality assurance, engineering support or construction administration and be ready to take the next step in your career.
You’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar construction or a closely related renewable energy environment.
- A practical understanding of construction and engineering activities, terminology and project stages.
- An understanding of business management and the commercial, contractual and operational factors that influence project delivery.
- Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Advanced document-control, reporting and record-management skills.
- The ability to review information critically, identify gaps and drive corrective action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence managing several projects, deadlines and stakeholder requirements at once.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- A proactive and accountable approach, with excellent attention to detail.
- The confidence to challenge incomplete information and hold others accountable for agreed actions professionally.
- The ambition and capability to progress into a more senior project, construction or operational role.
Experience in quality assurance, project handover, construction reporting, programme coordination or health and safety documentation would be an advantage.

Pay: £42,000.00 per year
