The Role
We are seeking Production Operatives to join our skilled manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who has production experience and is reliable and enthusiastic to join our well established team.
As a Production Operative, you will be involved in the manufacture, inspection and handling of ceramic components to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating manufacturing equipment and machinery in line with work instructions.
- Weighing and assembling of material compositions.
- Manufacturing and filling production moulds.
- Operating powder mixers, hydraulic and isostatic presses.
- Loading and unloading parts during production processes.
- Operating engineering equipment including CNC, Grinding, Milling and Drilling.
- Carrying out basic quality checks and visual inspections.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Working to production targets as defined by the company.
- Following all Health and Safety policies as defined by the company.
- Accurately recording production data.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within a manufacturing production environment (ideally within an engineering/chemical/ceramic sector but not essential as training provided).
- A reliable and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on new processes and equipment.

- Full time/permanent position pending probationary reviews after 3 and 6 months.

Salary
- Competitive Salary of £15.23/hr after successfully completing training and meeting skill requirements plus additional shift allowances and overtime as required.
