Nursery Chef
You will lead our nursery kitchen, working alongside a dedicated Kitchen Assistant. Together, you will form a close-knit team focused on providing nutritious, exciting meals for our children and staff. Your assistant will support you with prep work and daily kitchen duties, allowing you to focus on culinary excellence, menu development, and food safety.

- Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
- Hours: Full-time, permanent, year-round (Nursery open 7:30am–6:30pm, Mon–Fri)
- Schedule: Standard 5 days (4-day shift patterns can be discussed)
- Location: E14 9ZW (Canary Wharf, London)
What You Will Do
- Prepare fresh, healthy meals for children (aged 3 months to 4 years) and staff
- Order food, check supplies, and manage kitchen stock
- Create and test new, exciting recipes
- Keep the kitchen clean and safe at all times
- Follow food hygiene and safety rules
- Work within set budget limits
What You Need
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Food Service
- Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
- Cooking training certificate or trade school background
- Past cooking experience in a professional kitchen
