Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Travel Agent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, providing expert advice on destinations, accommodation, and transportation. Responsibilities
- Assist clients in planning customised travel itineraries based on their preferences and budgets.
- Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services accurately and efficiently.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance, and local attractions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, airline policies, and hotel offerings.
- Handle client enquiries via phone, email, or face-to-face with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process payments and issue tickets or travel documents promptly.
- Manage client records securely within the booking system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with suppliers such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure the best deals for clients.
- Follow up post-travel to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to provide personalised customer service with a friendly and professional approach.
- Knowledge of popular travel destinations and current industry trends.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
