We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, using your knowledge of the menu to assist guests in their selections.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning duties.
- Grow into a General Manager in the future potentially
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Strong upselling skills to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
