Duties
- Record and reconcile financial transactions using leading accounting software such as Xero
- Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records, including invoicing and collections
- Prepare financial reports and statements to support internal analysis and external reporting
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Skills
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, or equivalent platforms
- Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and evolving accounting practices

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
