Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Engineer / Improver
Olive Air Ltd is looking for an Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Engineer or Improver to join our team.
We are a small, established company based in Ipswich, specialising mainly in the service, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and heat pump systems. We also carry out air conditioning installations and some heat pump installations.
We are open to applicants at different levels of experience. You may already be an experienced engineer looking for a new opportunity, or an improver who has some industry experience and wants to continue learning and developing.
For us, attitude is just as important as experience. We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn and takes pride in doing a good job.
The role will include:
- Service and maintenance of air conditioning and heat pump systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Air conditioning installation work
- Some heat pump installation work
- Working on a variety of manufacturers and equipment
- Travelling to customer sites across Suffolk, Essex and surrounding areas
- Completing job reports and service documentation
- Working independently as your experience and ability develops
What we're looking for:
- Previous air conditioning, refrigeration or heat pump experience is preferred
- F-Gas qualification is desirable, although we will consider applicants who are still developing their qualifications
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn and undertake further training
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence is essential
