Casual Front of House Team Member

Statham Lodge Hotel is looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our Front of House team on a casual basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering all areas of our hotel operation, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, weddings, private events, restaurant service and bar service. No two shifts are quite the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people in a busy hospitality environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive service
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner service
- Restaurant table service
- Bar service and preparing drinks
- Working at weddings, parties and other special events
- Setting up rooms for functions and events
- Laying tables and preparing service areas
- Clearing and resetting rooms following events
- Moving tables, chairs and other event equipment
- Maintaining clean, tidy and well-stocked guest areas
- Supporting colleagues across the hotel when required
About you:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with guests
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Flexible and available for evening and weekend shifts
- Happy to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including moving tables and chairs
- Previous hospitality experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided
- Bar or table-service experience would be an advantage
Hours will vary depending on business levels and scheduled events, so this role would particularly suit someone looking for flexible work alongside other commitments.
