Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner Operative to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal areas according to company standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning products as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ensure all cleaning activities are carried out with attention to detail and professionalism.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment is desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
