Ladybirds Preschool is a small, established community-focused setting with a clear, gentle school-like structure designed to help children settle, thrive, and prepare confidently for their next stage of education. Essential requirements:
Level 3 Early Years qualification — Level 2 may be considered for the right candidate
Minimum 2 years' experience working within an early years or childcare setting
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and complete all required safer recruitment procedures- This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 — all convictions and/or cautions must be declared
Desirable: Paediatric First Aid certificate, Experience supporting children with additional needs

The Role; You will join our small, dedicated team to deliver high-quality early years education within our structured yet flexible setting. You will plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS framework, support children's development, and work collaboratively to ensure every child feels secure, valued, and prepared for school, you will follow and implement all Safeguarding policies and procedures, build positive staff parent relations, use the EYFS to track and monitor children’s development and be confident in recording this efficiently, You will become a strong valued member of the preschool community. We encourage initiative and offer scope for professional growth and additional responsibility for the right candidate.
Pay: £12.56-£13.56 per hour
